In June 2015 Thomalla joined Lech Poznan. In the 27 matches he played, the footballer scored twice. The last game he participated in was in December, against Piast Gliwice.
Thomalla's new club plays in the second Bundesliga. After the autumn round, the club is placed 11th in the league rank. In the 19 matches Heidenheim has played so far, the German team collected 24 points.
