The players returned to training
After the holidays Lechs players returned to training. 22 members of the team participated in the first New Years session. Among the group was the recent transfer from Kalamar FF, Paulus Arajuuri.
The first training session took place in a beautiful, spring weather with sun shining. It was similar last year. The first training session was played out in not much different weather conditions but the following day the snow fell and the pitches became frozen. I hope that this year it wont happen and well be able to work in these kind of conditions for a longer period. Winter is for the snowboarders and skiers, up in the mountains. Here, we prefer such weather, said coach Mariusz Rumak.
Dimitrije Injac and Vojo Ubiparip were absent during the training session. Both are Protestants and they were celebrating Christmas. In addition, Ubiparip is still recovering from an injury. So are Jasmin Buric, Kebba Ceesay and Rafał Murawski. Maciej Gostmoski isstruggling with an infection. Lechs goalkeeper wont take part in the Wednesdays medical tests in the Rehasport Clinic and the Thursdays progressive test in the AZS hall. Hell probably catch up on the weekend.
Till the end of the week Lechs player will continue preparations on the clubs training complex. On Monday they are going to begin a grouping in Jarocin. Thats when they will play their first control game. Lechs opponents is going to be Lechia Gdańsk. The match is planned for the 18th January.
