Standard Liege – Lech Poznań 2:1 

The first half wasn’t a great performance from Lech – the hosts visibly dominated on the pitch, however, luckily for the Polish club, Filip Bednarek was playing a brilliant game and his interventions saved Lech multiple times from conceding a goal. Shortly before halftime, the situation changed when Obbi Oulare – Standard’s forward – was forced off the pitch for a second yellow and, as a result, red card.

The circumstances have further improved for the guests when Mikael Ishak scored for the Polish club in the 61^st minute with a strong, precise shot into the bottom corner. However, from there on, Lech lost control of the game. Just two minutes later, the Belgian team equalized thanks to a goal from Abdoul Tapsoba and then, in the 75^th minute, the Polish side lost the advantage of one man. Djorde Crnomarković was sent off for a foul that cost him a second yellow card.

Standard Liege regained control of the game and just when it seemed that the match was going to end in a draw, Konstantinos Laifis scored a late winner and the hosts collected all three points.
