Pogoń Szczecin - Lech Poznań 1:5

The beginning of the game belonged to the hosts. In the 5th minute Pogoń could have taken the lead. Wołąkiewicz lost to Robak and the ball found unmarked Małecki but the player sent it above the crossbar. The next few minutes were dominated by Lech but neither Henriquez nor Kędziora managed to place the ball in the net. Just when it seemed that the guests had control over the game, Pogoń scored their first goal. In the 15th minute Rudol sent a flat cross into the penalty area, Robak turned out to be faster than the defenders and with a powerful shot under the crossbar he beat Gostomski. The team from Poznan remained in possession of the ball, often occupying the penalty area of their opponents, but Pogońs counter attacks were lethal. In the 27th minute Małecki easily beat Kędziora and with a precise shot he created a great chance for Akahoshi but the Japanese player sent the ball flying above the goal. 4 minutes later the leader of hosts was the one to assist. Akahoshi sent a perfect cross into the penalty area and Robak had no difficulties finishing the action. In the 39th minute the referee took a controversial decision of calling with a delay a penalty for Wołąkiewiczs faul on Lewandowski. Robak was the one to place the ball in the net for the third time that night. Lech was helpless after the blows received and just before the halftime they were hit once again by Robak who finished a great pass from Murayama.

Lech came back for the second half determined to score as fast as possible and the team from Poznań was close in 49th minute. Lovrencsics sent a cross from the left wing but Kownackis header was stopped by the goalkeeper. The young forward had a bit more luck 9 minutes later. Hamalainen was the one to lead a counter attack and he passed the ball to Lovrencsics but Hungarians shot was saved. Fortunately for Lech Kownacki was in the right place at the right time scoring his first goal in Ekstraklasa. In the 67th minute guests could have reduced the losses but Lovrencsics shot was blocked and Pawłowskis attempt was stopped by the goalkeeper. 5 minutes later Robak shined yet once again. He received a pass from Akahoshi and since every single shot of the forward turned into a goal, Gostomski was helpless. Lech remained fighting till the very end and in the 79th minute they were close to scoring their second but Kamiński didnt have much luck when missed the ball by centimeters. Lovrencsics had his chance in the 89th minute but his massive shot stopped on the crossbar and the match ended with a definitive win of the hosts.
