Everyone gets a blank slate
“It’s not yet the time to say what my role in the team is going to be, but everyone gets a blank slate. I am working hard, hoping I will get a chance,” said Dariusz Dudka.
In the friendly game with Olimpia Grudziądz Dariusz Dudka stayed on the pitch for 90 minutes. He was one of the four players who weren’t replaced. “Only a few days have passed since the new coach joined us. It is obvious that the manager is still getting familiar with the team and the friendly game with Olimpia was his first opportunity to see us play,” said the 32 year-old.
In the Saturday match 6 senior team footballer got a chance to play. “Many boys from the reserves team performed in the game with Olimpia. The coach had to make rotations in the squad, since most of our team is away on National Team groupings,” explained Dudka. “We lost a goal by pure accident and then Olimpia began to struggle to build any good goal-scoring opportunities, but so did we, especially in the first half,” summarized Lech’s footballer.
