Aleks signed a contract with Lech

10-year-old Aleksander Sowa visited the INEA Stadium on Thursday afternoon and signed a 24h contract with the club in the vice-chairman’s office. After a short chat with Piotr Rutkowski, the youngster went on a tour around the stadium, met coach Bjelica and later attended a press conference where he was asked multiple questions by the media representatives.

“I have the pleasure to introduce our newest signing. Aleks Sowa is a special transfer and he can compete in the league competition right away,” explained vice-chairman Rutkowski. “The contract will last 24h, therefore Aleks will be a part of tomorrow’s match day squad. He’s the element of surprise in the clash with Korona Kielce. Aleks is a classic forward – he will play with no. 9 on his back and we hope he will soon show his talent for scoring,” added Rutkowski with a smile.

Following the press conference, Aleks met his new teammates and attended a training session. Friday will be full of attractions too. The 10-year-old will experience a match day together with the senior squad and will participate in the pre-match warm up. However, that’s not the end. About the project “Proud of our tradition”

The crowdfunding project “Proud of our tradition”, which ran during April this year, was meant to finance the production and installation of large-format graphics which appeared on the walls and in the corridors of all 4 stands at INEA Stadium.

In total 26 graphics have decorated the walls at the stadium. The project “Proud of our tradition” was organized with the help of Fans4Club. Overall, 1562 people participated in the campaign.
