In the game of 5th round of T-Mobile Ekstraklasa Lech Poznań lost with Wisła in an away game. Paweł Brożek (penalty) and Łukasz Garguła got the goals for their team.
The match started with goal opportunities for both sides. In the 2nd minute Kotorowski saved his team from a fast loss of a goal with a great intervention. 4 minutes later Teodorczyk tried suprising Miśkiewicz but his shot was saved and turned into a corner, another chance for Lech Poznań.
The advance of Wisła Cracow, who was more eager to keep attacking, started growing with every following minute. Their offensive actions were dangerous for Lech Poznań but only in 30th minute did the result change. Wołąkiewicz was late with an intervention and fouled Burliga. The referee had no other option than to whistle a penalty which Paweł Brożek turned into a goal. 5 minutes later the hosting team should be wining 2:0 but Garguła couldnt use Brożeks great pass and being one-on-one with the goalkeeper, he sent the ball over the bar. Wisłas midfielder had another opportunity just before the halftime. Having taken over the ball that was blocked after Małeckis shot, he passed Henriquez with an ease and gave no chance to Kotorowski, placing the ball in the back of the net.
In the halftime, Mariusz Rumak decided to substitute invisible Lovrencsics and put on Bartosz Ślusarski. Last seasons most efficient player of Lech Poznań was close to scoring a goal in the 60th minute after a great pass from Pawłowski but his header was saved by Miśkiewicz. Wisła responded with three good chances but neither Sarki, Brożek nor Małecki were able to turn them into goals. The match ended with a two-goals win with the team from Poznań.
