"Now every match is going to be important and hard to win. If we are to perform the way we did on Saturday, we can even advance to the third place. What's significant is that we will face our direct rivals in the upcoming 7 matches," explained Jasmin Buric. "The start counts the most. We know that we are to face Legia and if we can win, there will be a small gap between us and the top ranks."
The Bosnian goalkeeper is not the only one aware of Lech's current position. "You collect points throughout the whole season, but now the league table became narrower. In the next match the fight starts all over again," said Maciej Gajos. "There are 7 matches to go. I hope we manage to move up the ranks," told us the defender Tomasz Kedziora.
Lukasz Tralka also heralded a fight for the very top of the league. "The upcoming phase decides about the whole season. We are going to give it all and make sure we can compete on the international arena. Legia is the first to go. All the matches we have played before are now of no importance. The win against Gornik gave us confidence and we are ready to resume the fight," explained Lechs midfielder.
