After 4 league rounds Górnik Zabrze is the leader of the classification. Adam Nawałkas players crashed Widzew Łódź 3:0 with the help of poor performance of opponents defense. Having won with Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała and Piast Gliwice, it was the third match in a row where the team from Zabrze gathered full set of points. Górnik is the leader with 10 points after 4 rounds, having one point advance over Legia Warszawa who lost their first match in the season.

Besides bringing a mess among the team, firing Korona Kielce coach Leszek Ojrzyński didnt do much. The players led by Sławomir Grzesik won their away game at INEA Stadium 0:2. Fans at the PGE Arena in Gdańsk got the chance to watch the most interesting match of the round. After drawing with Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała and Ruch Chorzów and a win with Jagiellonia Białystok, the yet unbeaten Lechia proved their good disposition by beating Cracovia 3:1. Paweł Buzałas goal was the moment of the match as well as of the whole round. The 27 years old forward together with Deisuke Matsui destroyed Cracovias defense line with heel passes, finishing the attack with a strong shot.
