Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała - Lech Poznań 0:0

Lech came to Bielsko Biała with the aim of winning for the third time in a row and that was clear from the start. The guests took control over the match and kept on attacking. However, they had problems creating goal chances despite the fact that the defense of Podbeskidzie wasnt hard to overcome. Lech tried shooting from the outside of the penalty area but whether it was Linietty, Hamalainen, Lovrencsics or Claasen they all lacked precision. In the 36th minute Marcin Kamiński had a chance to score a goal when not being marked in the penalty area he received a great cross from Lovrencics, but his header went wide. Podbeskidzie had only one shot in the first half. In the 45th minute Wodecki tried surprising the opponents from outside the penalty area but Gostomski had no problems saving the shot.

The match did not look any different after the halftime. Lech was still dominating and the hosts remained waiting for a chance of counterattack. However, the second half started more promising for the guests when just after the whistle Daylon Claasen had a great opportunity for a goal but once again the precision failed. With every minute it looked worse. Lech had bigger and bigger difficulties with creating chances and Rybansky remained with not much to do. Podbeskidzie had their first chance in the 72nd minute when after Douglas mistake, Pawela tried shooting from a sharp angle but the goalkeeper saved the shot. In the 82nd minute the players of Lech Poznań had their first accurate shot in the match. Douglas sent a great cross from a corner kick and Trałka was the one who shot with the header, however, the goalkeeper was in the right place at the right time. In the last minute of the additional Podbeskidzie had a great chance to gather all three points but Jagiella didnt manage to use Chmiels great cross and he sent the ball above the bar.
