Lewandowski conducted the Lech Cup group stage draw
A week ago the groups of this years edition of Lech Cup were drawn. This time it was Robert Lewandowski who was the one to conduct, as he and his teammates from the Polish National Team faced Ireland in the friendly game in Poznań.
The former forward of Lech Poznań and premier leagues best goal scorer assigned the team of Lech to the group A. The players of Marcin Salamon will compete in with the current club of Robert Lewandowski Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea London, Olympique Marseille and the defender of the title Dinamo Zagreb. Hertha Berlin, Manchester United, Feyenoord Rotterdam, Galatasaray Istanbul and Villarreal will compete in group B.
The rivalry will start the next Saturday (December 7th) in the Arena on 9:00. The final will take place on Sunday, 16:00. During the tournament, St Nicholas Day with Lech the sport event full of football and Christmas attractions will take place in the foyer hall. The entrance is free.
A day before the tournament the IV edition of the Lech Conference will be held. The main topic of this years conference will be the quick transition in football. Representatives of Manchester United, Dinamo Zagreb and Feyenoord Rotterdam among others will share their knowledge. On the Lech Conference will also appear the likes of Eamon Mulvey, Ugo Klingor, Gerard Rutjes and Rasmus Ankersen.
