Lech will fly to Dubai
In the previous year, Lech’s squad traveled to Turkey for the winter break. However, this year the destination for the training camp has been changed to Dubai. Two training matches have been planned.
This year’s winter break is very unusual since the 2022 World Cup in Qatar will take place in November and December. Hence the players who won’t be heading to the World Cup will leave for vacations after the last league game of the year and then they will return in December to train for 10 days. The team will resume normal training sessions after the Christmas/New Year break, that is on January 3rd.
The following day, Lech’s squad will leave for the winter training camp. However, unlike the previous years, this time the team won’t travel to Turkey. “We have decided to make a change this year and we will fly to Dubai, UAE. We begin the training camp on January 4th and will return to Poznań 10 days later, on January 14th,” explained Mariusz Skrzypczak, the Team Manager. “We will be staying at a facility with multiple pitches, one of which will be at our disposal. We will also play two training matches,” added Skrzypczak.
Lech’s opponents for the training matches will be announced soon. Most likely, the team will play one more practice game after returning to Poznań.
