Lech Poznań - Xerez CD 4:0

From the very beginning the team from Poznań had control over the game. Lech could have taken the lead in the 3rd minute when Kędziora sent a cross to Możdżeń but the defenders shot was blocked at the last moment. 2 minutes later the Spaniards replied with an offensive action but Xerez forward, unmarked in the penalty area, couldnt find the back of the net. In the 14th minute Lech was leading 1:0 thanks to Pawłowskis precise shot from outside the penalty area. 10 minutes later the winger could have had a second goal on his account but he slightly missed with a header from Kędzioras cross. The second goal was scored in the 37th minute. Teodorczyk won the ball, raced into the penalty area and set it for Kownacki. The latter without difficulties placed the ball in the net, allowing his team to finish the first half with a two-goal lead.

The second half should have started with a third goal of the team from Poznań. Kamiński sent a great long ball, however, Claasen did not only lob the goalkeeper, but also the goal. Lovrencsics in the 59th minute turned out to be more precise. Linetty began the action with a great pass to Lovrencsics who, being one-on-one, placed the ball in the net. 15 minutes later it was already 4:0. Lech Poznań played out the corner kick well, with Lovrencsics sending a cross into the penalty area and Kamiński sending the ball under the bar with a volley. The result could have been ever higher but Claasena and Formella did not use their chances.
