In the game of the 3rd round of T-Mobile Ekstraklasa Lech Poznań lost in a home game with Wisła Kraków 2:3. It was the first time Kolejorz lost at the INEA Stadion since September 2013.
Just as its been predicted, the game started with Lech attacking intensively. The team from Poznań undoubtedly dominated the first 10 minutes and they should have been leading when Teodorczyk found himself in a perfect one-on-one situation but the forward sent the ball flying past the goal. After that it was Wisła who controlled the game as Lech seemed to have disappeared from the pitch. It was Stilić who led the game, dominating in the midfield. In the 17th minute the former playmaker of Lech sent a great pass to Burliga who shot the ball in the direction of the goal. Burić saved the first ball but the goalkeeper received little support from the defenders and when the ball found Garguła, the player of Wisła had no difficulties placing it in the net. In the 28th minute it was already 2:0. Boguski sent a perfect pass along the penalty area and all Garguła needed to do was put his foot in the right place at the right time. Before halftime guests could have increased their lead but Brożek and Stilić wasted three great opportunities.
At halftime Mariusz Rumak was forced to make changes as the game in the first 45 minutes was far from decent. The coach put on the field Kownacki and Pawłowski to strengthen Lechs offensive. Jevtić was the first one who could have decreased the losses but his shot from 15 minutes was well-saved by Buchalik. However, the goalkeeper did not look so good a few minutes later when he did not catch the ball shot by Kownacki and in an act of despair fouled Trałka in the penalty area. Wołąkiewicz approached the ball that stood at the 11th meter and he sent it flying into the net. Before the result changed again both sides had their chances. Lech could have equalized but Keita waited too long with a shot and Burić turned to be better in a clash with Brożek. Lechs attacks became successful in the 83rd minute when Barry Douglas placed the ball in the net with a great free kick. However, the hosts joy lasted short when 4 minutes later Burić had to take the ball out of his own net. Guerriera beat Wołąkiewicz with a bit of luck and scored the goal that at last got his team all 3 points.
