Lech Poznan - Wigry Suwalki 3:1

In the second winter sparing match, Lech Poznan won with the first-league Wigry Suwalki 3:1. Formella, Gajos and Kedziora got the goals for the team from Poznan.

Lech took the lead as early as in the 6th minute. Formella took advantage over the misunderstanding between Wigry's goalkeeper and the defender Wichtowski, recovered the ball and placed it in the unguarded goal. Jozwiak was among the active players too and in the 29th minute he could have scored a goal of his own, but his shot from outside the penalty area flew above the crossbar.

Soon afterwards the 17 year old dribbled past two defending players and sent the ball to Formella, but this time the goalkeeper intervened successfully. Wigry had a goal-scoring opportunity shortly before the halftime when Kozak sent a good ball into the penalty area from the left flank, but Biela's shot was inaccurate and flew above the goal that was guarded by Lis. 

A few minutes into the second half the score changed again. This time it was Gumny that sent a cross into the penalty area and Gajos was the one who converted the pass into a goal. A moment later Pawlowski tried surprising the opponent with an individual action that he finished off with a pass to Kurbiel, but it was poorly timed and thus only Lovrencsics got a chance to shoot, however the goalkeeper stopped the ball without problems.

Despite the fact that Lech dominated the match, Wigry did not give up and kept on trying to score. Atanacković attempted to beat Lis with a shot from outside the penalty area and he succeeded in getting a goal for his team since Lis did not manage to stop the ball. Lech soon caught up when 6 minutes later the team from Poznan was awarded a penalty area, Kedziora converted it into a goal, increasing the advantage to 3 goals. 

In the 80th minute Pawlowski sent a precise pass to Gajos, who could have scored once again, but the ball rolled into the goalkeeper's hands. Lovrencsics could have scored before the final whistle too, howevered his shot was inaccurate and went above the goal.
