Lech Poznań - Warta Poznań 2:2

Playing in a highly young and experimental squad Lech Poznan began the match against  Warta from taking the lead after just two minutes. Vojo Ubirparip took advantage of a misunderstanding of Warta's defenders and with a  skillful lob sent the ball into the net. Lech dominated for a few minutes, but couldn't get any goal opportunities. It should have been  2:0 in the 41st minute of  the first half. Jakóbowski passed two players on the right side and delivered the ball to Ubiparip. But the Serb missed it  badly and the ball hit straight into the defender. The tables have turned and Warta had its chances. Bartoszak took control over the ball and played it  to entering the right side of the pitch  Trojanowski. He got into the penalty area and surprised Lech's goalkeeper-Szymański- with a flat shot.  

The second half began for Lech as well as  the first one. In 49th minute Drewniak intercepted the ball from Wichtowski and passed it to Lovrencsics. The Hungarian sent Ubiparip into the battle and the striker in one on one situation put the ball at the back of the net defeating Warta's goalkeeper- Lis. In the 62nd  minute Jakóbowski had an excellent chance of making the score even higher. Kolejorz winger got the ball from Drewniak and rushed into the penalty area. There, however, attacked  by the defender failed to deliver even a shot. 6 minutes later the opponents equalized. Naumcevski broke through the right side and played it to Pogonowski, who defeated  Wandzel with a close shot. Lech could have regained the lead in the 73rd minute when Lovrencsics made a slight mistake while hitting the ball. However, Lech had  the best chance to get the winning  goal a minute before the end. Orłowski, who entered the pitch as a substitution, kicked the ball straight into Warta's goalkeeper thus settling the score. The match ended up with a draw.
