Lech Poznań - Lechia Gdańsk 1:0

The fans eager to see their teams play filled the only stand with a roofing in Jarocin. However, neither of the teams delivered a spectacle in the first half. The players seemed unable to pass to their teammates and there were barely any goal chances created. Lechia did not cause any threat to Kotorowski throughout the whole 45 minutes while Lech tried surprising the opponents twice. Both times Hamalainen was the one to waste a great opportunity after receiving passes from Możdżeń and Linetty.

The second half started with Lech determined to score. Zulciak shone in the 51st minute when after Claasens cross he hit the ball impressively but his shot stopped on the bar. Lechia replied with Wiśniewskis two shots but Gostomski hadnt had much trouble with successful intervening. Just when it seemed that the match will end with a goalless draw, Claasen scored a goal that allowed Lech to grab the win. The South African player received a great pass from Ślusarski and being one-on-one he gave no chance to the goalkeeper.
