Lech discharges Djurdjević
Following the Sunday match against Lechia Gdansk, Ivan Djurdjevic is no longer managing Lech’s first team. Until a new coach is appointed, Dariusz Zuraw, the reserve’s team coach, will lead the senior squad.
“We would like to thank Djurdjevic for taking over this difficult role and we wish him good luck in his career. We say goodbye respectfully because he means a lot to the club,” explained Tomasz Rzasa, Lech’s Sporting Director. “Negotiations with new potential candidates are still undergoing. Until they are terminated, Dariusz Zuraw will coach the senior team,” added Rzasa.
Dariusz Zuraw joined Lech Poznan in season 2014/15 when he formed Skorza’s coaching staff. Further details about his temporary appointment will be revealed in a separate announcement.
