Dawid Kownacki did not undergo the surgery of the ankle that was planned for the previous week. The decision to hold back was taken by the neurologist, because the young forward still has to recover from the brain concussion.

Kownacki's health state is getting better and better and it's possible that the player will ultimately resign from the surgery. "The consultation were have had make us optimistic," said the chief of Lech's medical staff, Krzysztof Pawlaczyk.
It's impossible to tell yet when the forward will reappear on the pitch, however his organism is regenerating very quickly. If the player won't undergo the surgery, he will most likely soon return to training sessions: at first individually, and then he will join the rest of the team.
