In the game of the 12th round of T-Mobile Ekstraklasa Lech Poznan tied 2:2 with Korona in Kielce. Its the second time in a row that Lech is deprived of 2 points in an away match by a goal scored in the last minute.
Lech was a definitive favorite of the match with Korona which was placed on the pre-last position before the game. The players from Poznan proved their superiority on the pitch quickly; it took them 5 minutes to score a goal. Jevtic rushed into the penalty area and send a flat, parallel ball. Golanskis unfortunate intervention sent the ball to Hamalainen, who placed it in the net. Lech had multiple opportunities to strengthen their lead in the first half. Pawlowski lost to Cerniauskas twice in the 9th minute. The hosts goalkeeper intervened successfully many times, including a great one-on-one save against Lovrencsics. Despite an undeniable lead, in the 16th minute Korona equalized. Golanski sent a precise center from a free kick and it was Kapo who jumped high enough to send the ball flying into the net next to Gostomski. However, the players from Poznan took the lead once again shortly after, in the 28th minute. A change in offensive turned to be effective and Pawlowski finished a great team action by beating Cerniauskas. 3 minutes later the hosts could have equalized but Gostomski intervened successfully. First half ended with a draw but the guests dominated a large part of the 45 minutes.
Lech came began the first half with an aim to control the game without putting as much pressure on the offensive. In the 52nd minute Linetty could have added an assist to his account but Lovrencsics shot was saved by the goalkeeper. The hosts caused trouble to their opponents only with corner kicks and free kicks. However, Korona was the team that dominated the ending of the second half. The hosts visited Lechs half more often and in the injury time their center from a corner kick turned lethal for the team from Poznan. Sylwestrzak scored a goal from a close distance, winning a valuable point for Korona.
