Ahead of the second-leg of the quarterfinals Lech had a one-goal advantage. However, it did not mean that the team would move into the defense. "An attitude that there is no need to win the match would only cause us problems. We always want to win," reassured Barry Douglas, adding that, "the game with Zaglebie Lubin was very hard. We knew that there was big pressure since the team from Lubin had nothing to lose. In the end we succeeded because we defended well and Szymon eventually found a way to place the ball in the back of the net."
The Polish Champions now have to focus in the match against Pogon Szczecin. In the previous clash the guests won at INEA Stadium 2:1. "No match is easy. There is one day for recovery ahead of us, but all we do is look forward to the league game with Pogon and we hope that we'll be able to collect all three points in Szczecin," concluded Douglas.
