Lech Poznań signed Dioni Villalba. After the player passed medical tests successfully, the two sides finalized a 2-year deal which includes the option of extending the contract for another year.
The 28-year-old’s nominal position is midfielder. Previously, the Spaniard player for CF Fuenlabrada that he joined from Racing Santander. Last season, Dioni appeared on the pitch 45 times and scored 23 goals. His professional résumé includes clubs such as Cadiz CF, Udinese Calcio, CD Leganes, Hercules CF, and Real Oviedo. Lech’s new striker is best known for his impressive goal-scoring skills displayed during the past 3 year – in total, he scored 60 times in 87 games.
Lech Poznan watched the footballer play from the stands a couple of times, for instance during Fuenlabrada’s clash with Real Madrid in Copa del Rey. Dioni is a technically skilled striker that has shown his abilities on the Spanish pitches numerous times. His physique is also a great strength. Now he has a chance to shine in Poland.

I am thrilled to be here and I cannot wait for the first training session with my new teammates and the first game,” said Lech’s newest signing.
Dioni Villalba is the fifth footballer to join Lech Turing this summer transfer window following the arrivals Tomasz Cywka, Karol Szymański, Pedro Tiba, and João Amaral.
