A minute of silence
The Polish Cup quarterfinal between Wisla Cracow and Lech Poznan will be proceeded with a minute of silence. The Polish teams want to sympathize with the families of the recent airplane crash victims, which include the footballers, training staff, and management of the Brazilian club Chapecoense.
Footballers, training staff, chairmen, and journalists, alongside the airplane crew, were on their way to the Copa Sudamericana final in Medellin when the plane crashed. 76 out of the 81 passengers died. According to the media, the 5 survivors were players, a journalist and a steward.
The Polish Football Association decided to commemorate the victims with a minute of silence proceeding the match.
