Shortly after the referee started the match Karol Linetty called for a change. Dariusz Dudka came in for the young midfielder in the 8th minute. It turns out that the Polish representative felt pain in the bicipital muscle. He will undergo further medical tests when the team returns to Poland.
Dawid Kownacki left the pitch half an hour later. When fighting for the ball in the air, the 18 year-old clashed with one of the hosts' defenders. Milan Stepanov had his cut bandaged and the footballer was able to play again, however Kownacki couldn't participate in the rest of the match. The young forward was transported to the hospital at halftime due to a probability of a brain concussion. However, initial medical examinations indicate that the player did not damage his head severely.
